And yes, enemies that fly are supposed to travel through walls.
The core is a vessel that has the ability to connect and forge itself within other beings, taking control of them and their abilities. Fight through infinite hordes of shadow-like husks as you take control of them and use their own abilities against their own kind.

Controls

Aim and click with your mouse to fire your chain
Click to use ability if you are connected with an enemy
Tips and Strategies
If the heart takes contact damage, the enemy you're connected to will also die
Any enemy that takes contact damage with the heart will instantly die, however the heart takes double damage than from getting shot
There is no penalty for letting the enemy you're connected to die other than not being able to attack. You can take advantage of this and use your connected enemy as a meat shield
And, if you're planning to try to beat me, my record kill count is 80.

This is great. Polished, simple, challenging. Not much else you could ask for in a game jam game. It has a nice easy sound track a tutorial that eases you in, hard to imagine a better execution on this idea. Great job.
what a polished game, i cant believe this was made in a 2 day game jam!
Loved it!! Original and visually appealing.
