Join Captain Solomon Sewell, PhD; and his granddaughter Katherine, Resident Mechanic, in exploring the deep! Explore a vast and deep open ocean, record critters, and evade colossal terrors of deep-sea gigantism the further you go.

The deep ocean is a unique environment that allows for marine life to grow to sizes far greater than one might see closer to the surface. You've joined an expedition team researching this phenomenon of deep sea gigantism. Dive down in your scrappy submarine and discover the beauty and horror of the sea, earn respect and compensation for your research, fix up your submarine, and do it all again. What secrets lie at the ocean floor? Only a dive through the depths will reveal them to you, brave explorer.

I could see a full size refined version of this game performing really well, I would certainly buy it. A joy to play. Games like Outer Wilds, or more thematically similar Subnautica, keep scratching this itch of exploring the unknown and this was an excellent foray into that style. Excellent work team!

Sadly I got the same glitch others have reported upon scanning mr. pinchy.

Guys,  you just posted an entire gem as a jam game. Everything from the design to the chara art and the music is screaming Banger

drop the full game on steam !!!

The intro cutscene music is a bop, would you consider uploading it somewhere after the jam?

A full OST will be posted on YouTube sometime in the coming week or two! We’ll link it in the page or you can subscribe to our musician Benjamin as he’ll post it to his channel (its the link on his name in the page credits)

Absolutely love the game, but scanning the big man breaks everything. :(( Scans no longer upload, you no longer get paid... I'm on browser and I've tried both chrome and firefox.

Thats a bug that we hope to patch immediately post-jam. We apologize for not catching it sooner especially with so many people experiencing it and having a bad time with it.

Thanks for playing and letting us know!

Thank you for the kind words, I'm super happy to hear that! I hoped we did decently at portraying the ocean as both beautiful and scary lol

Having regrets about drawing the swordfish.

It's less about drawing the swordfish and more me deliberately choosing to make its ai a nuisance LOL
